American Retroworks Inc., dba Good Point Recycling, is committed to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion through its procurement practices by actively seeking partnerships with disadvantaged, minority-owned, women-owned, and veteran-owned businesses. Our Diversity and Equity Procurement Plan includes identifying and engaging with certified diverse suppliers for goods, transportation, logistics, and subcontracted recycling services. We prioritize sourcing from local and regional vendors that reflect the communities we serve, and we maintain a database of qualified diverse suppliers to incorporate into bidding and contract opportunities. Additionally, we provide mentorship and technical assistance to small disadvantaged businesses seeking to enter the electronics recycling and reuse industry, fostering a more inclusive and equitable supply chain. Our goal is to ensure that our economic impact contributes to the growth of underrepresented businesses while upholding the high environmental and ethical standards that define Good Point Recycling.
Good Point Recycling’s diversity partnerships extend beyond the borders of the USA, and through the NGO World Reuse Repair and Recycling Association (WR3A.org doing business as Fair Trade Recycling) supports Tech Sector and Recycling companies in Emerging Markets. These have included a women’s owned cooperative partner in Mexico (Retroworks de Mexico in Fronteras), a women-run remanufacturing company in Malaysia (Net Peripheral in Penang) and in 2025 the Opening of Good Point Recycling Hotel in Tamale Ghana (an urban eco-tourism partnership).
